KARO is a software suite for plastic card personalization template design and control of personalization processes including graphical printing, embossing, indent printing, magnetic stripe encoding, contact, contactless, and dual-chip encoding.
KARO features a user-friendly interface and a comprehensive set of functions that support card personalization across a wide range of tabletop equipment from various manufacturers. It operates on Windows operating systems up to and including Windows 11 (64-bit).
KARO can be used to personalize not only financial cards, but also discount, bonus, loyalty, access control, and other types of cards. Input data can come from databases or files, be entered manually via keyboard, or be generated automatically. Built-in drivers enable support for various devices such as embossers, printers, digital photo cameras, and more.
